Evening atmosphere in Bernkastel-Kues. Service technician Frank Nürnberg is on holiday, sitting with his wife, their host, and a cool drink on the terrace of their accommodation. Parked by the roadside is his vehicle, a service Vito with the ZOELLER-KIPPER logo.

Passers-by stroll past, greet them, or stop for a chat. People know each other here. Frank Nürnberg strikes up a conversation with a man who asks him what he does for a living. ‚I maintain and repair waste collection vehicles,‘ he replies. His conversation partner glances at the Vito, then back at Frank Nürnberg: ‚With ZOELLER, by any chance?‘

The man hesitates at first but eventually asks, ‚Could you maybe pop by tomorrow? It’s just ten minutes from here. The automatic gear keeps slipping out on our Delta…‘ Frank doesn’t need to think long: ‚Sure thing!‘

What would he need for it? ‚Oh, not much. A measuring tape would be handy, and a screwdriver. But in a pinch, a ten-cent coin would do.‘ And he has all the parameters in his head after all these years, the ZOELLER professional explains.

The next day, he stops by the yard briefly. ‚My wife did roll her eyes a bit… But the lifter was adjusted in no time,‘ says Nürnberg. There was still plenty of time left for holiday activities.

In the evening, he’s back on the terrace: ‚Then the colleague comes by with a bottle of ice wine as a thank you for my wife’s patience and is over the moon: “The lifter’s working like a dream now. Honestly, it’s a completely different vehicle!”‘
